My U2 experience have started in 1994 when I was sitting with my family watching polish channel named „Polsat" - where U2 „Rattle and Hum" movie was on vision. First imperssion was - "Bono is singing „With or Without You" - so well live" - there was so many emotion and passion in his voice, there was something very rare in U2 that I have not seen before, their sound was uncommon, they looked very fresh to me. It was very extraordinary moment because after that movie I thought that U2 still look like during JT Tour. After all I realize that time has changed and U2 came into the new decade ( Achtung Baby, Zooropa, Passengers, Pop ). It was fall 1994 when I saw this movie, so U2 finished their last Tour "Zoo Tv" in Japan year before. I remember moment when I bought "Passengers Original Soundtracks No. 1". It was very experimental. There was only a few songs on this soundtrack that remind me that U2 is going back to nature. After two years in early 1997 I heard U2 first official single since 1993 called "Discotheque". This song confirmed my rumors that it's going to be something new. When I saw Bono with his new hair-do and in track suit, no more long hair, new look, new stuff, Adam was bald, Edge has new bear, I said what's going on - U2 is making techno music. There was no laugh when I attend my first U2 concert in my life during "Pop Mart Tour" in Warsaw, large screen, big stage, a lot of cables, a lot of people, they got lemon, toothpick, bow that reminds Mc'Donalds yellow sign. New technology, finally new impression came to Warsaw on August 12. Of course those days there was no internet in Poland so much popular like in other countries, there was no possibility to go for another concert abroad.

Time has changed in 2000, when U2 published their next studio album called "ATYCLB". U2 was back to their old sound, Edge dusted his Gibson Explorer, Bono looked like real rock leader for me.

My real U2 life started in 2005 during "Vertigo Tour" specially in North America. I saw the band so many times that I'm not able to count it. All the concert in USA and in New Zealand were much better from Europe Tour. I met band in person many times also during their recording session ( NLOTH ) in Dublin in 2007/2008. I called myself as a "Bono Hunter", I followed him in many places all over the world. My U2 collection is very rich, I got two treasures: Bono signed "Goal is Soul" Gretsch guitar and Edge "Music Rising" Epiphone.
