According to Hollywood Gossip Bono is looking to be recovering quite nicely. He was spotted out for lunch with friends at La Voile d'Or in St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, France on Tuesday (June 8). The "U2" frontman seemed to be in good spirits as he made his way to his luxurious hotel after one of his first adventures out since his recent back surgery.
In related news, there's no doubt that Bono needed emergency surgery immediately after doctors assessed a compressed sciatic nerve in his back, and it sure is costing him. U2 manager Paul McGuinness has put tour overhead at $750,000 a day, which covers the cost of moving crew and nearly 200 trucks that hold three complete stage setups to keep up with one another as the show moves from city to city. Hopefully, Bono will recover quickly and the tour will pick up again soon!
