At least one member of U2 got a chance to perform this weekend at the legendary Glastonbury Festival. The Edge joined Muse for a cover of U2's "Where the Streets Have No Name" that was very loud and very faithful to the original - even with the red lighting. The crowd roared when Edge walked on stage (it was the first song of Muse's encore) and seemed to soak up the whole collaboration. The performance came a day after U2 was scheduled to make the band's Glastonbury debut - a performance that was canceled when Bono's back surgery led to the postponement of the entire first leg of the 2010 U2 360 tour. Edge is now the second U2 member to perform at Glastonbury; Adam guested with Hothouse Flowers way back in 1989. Source: atu2
